Does Masao Obha finally get the nod for the HOF?

The way I understand it is that three fighters make the hall every year the three first ballot fighters are Calzaghe or however its spelled Trinidad and De La Hoya it seems to me that none of the three are on a level higher than Masao Ohba and it would be a travesty to overlook him yet again its time this great fighter was honored 37-2-1 his 2 loses were on close point decisions his first lose was before his 17th birthday as was his draw his second lose he was 18 he then ran off 19 wins in a row including 9 world Flyweight title defenses before he died at the age of 23 in a car accident
His last defense of his title was against a future champion Chartchai Chionoi Obha was knocked down in the first round and severly injured his ankle he got up and exchanged power shots in a great war of a fight while hopping and limping around the ring he knocked down Chionoi 3 times and KO'ed him in the 12th round
in my opinion he is the most worthy of any of the candidates his career is quite parallel with the great Sal Sanchez early loses then domination followed by a war in their respective last fights before they both died prematurely in car accidents at the age of 23 they both died as champs and were both unbeaten in title fights they should both be side by side in the hall

Sadly enough I don't think this will be the year even if a first ballot fighter does not make it I believe the Prince Naseem Hamed will get in first its to bad Masao has been overlooked all these years and will likely never get in

If you have not seen Masao Obha vs Chartchai Chionoi it's a great fight and it is on Youtube If you don't understand Japanese you can always mute the video

Trinidad and DLH are both almost certain to make it this year - which means, that the only excitement is who gets the 3rd spot. My money would be on Calzaghe - but he's not a sure thing.

Oscar, Tito and Kingpetch should be the 3 getting in this year.

yeah Calzaghe will get in the bright side for Masao Obha is 2015-16 are very weak classes with Hector Camacho and Julio Cesar Vasquez leading the lot and he should finally get the nod in one of those years but if he does not get in then he likely never will 2017 has a strong class with Holyfield and Marco antonio Barrera
