I think sugar was a bull****ter who distorted history for purposes of "entertainment." I cannot respect that at all, since he purported to be "reporting," on historical incidents. Reporter is a title which assumes some responsibility.

Websters defintion number 2,444,444,5666 and 1....Sports Writer Bull****er who distorts for the purpose of entertainment. This includes embellishing purported historical events.

Sugar himself, that tough man of the streets, going into Runyanesque bars to get the facts on the hard hitting men of the sweet science in the nations capital...was in fact a graduate, (I think he may even have had a law degree) of the University of Michigan.

Yeah that film bothers me a bit, on film Les Darcy looks much better, if all you had was that and no records of the fighters anyone would rate Darcy far ahead and a few others too.
