building a base with a semi-injury, no boxing

well, ive been injured a few months ago and i cant box or do any hard exercise for about 9-14 months. i got the injurt about 2 months ago and during that time i got VERY depressed because i started boxing before and i loved it. it was my life....so i started drinking, smoking etc...yeah, i know ******....but i want to get back in shape except i gained a bit of weight so exercise is a lot harder....because of the injury and the added weight, i cant do any calisthenics or running and obviously no jump rope, sparring etc....

i was thinking to atleast get a good base again i should hit the heavybag for 8-10 rounds and go for long walks...then when i get my weight down, i can add in the other exercises like pushups pullups squats pistols, etc then get back into real boxing training when the injury is over and done with

lower back/liver damage/slightly torn quad/pulled pec.....right now everything is OK...i mean i do do normal activites and light exercises but if i go too hard it strains way too much....

2 be honest 1 woulnd do any exercise unless the docter says its ok because u could risk hurting urself even more and having to wait even longer for ur injury 2 heel

yeah, thats why im not sure about heavybag training....the long walks are fine though....and lots of stretching helps doesnt stress me too much.

            so this sucks....
