    Vinegar in diet?

    I've read in Jack Dempsey's book that he recommends a diet for fighters which omits vinegar. Similarly, I remember reading an article in Men's Health which states that the Gracie family also follows a diet which explicitly forbids vinegar or any pickled foods for that matter. Does anybody know what effects vinegar or such pickled foods have especially on the body and physiology of a fighter??

    I'm asking because I ****ing love pickles.

    Honestly, from my knowledge, vinegar can actually help the metabolic pathway.

    I don't know of any problem with it. It's simply acetic acid and water.

      vinegar & diet

      My friend You must be careful with which vinegar you use. White vinegar is good for many many thing, but don't drink it will remove all of the minerals and nutrients from your body. Apple cider vinegar is the only one you want to ingest. 1tbls of AC vinegar and 1 tbsp of honey in cold or I prefer hot water (8oz glass or coffe mug) is great. It puts lots of minerals and nutrients into your body. It really has helped my very sore knees.

        apple cider vinegar works great for me, i have arthritis. i have some old, old books on training that recommend vinegar after hard workout
