Saprring gloves

I saved money and I'm gonna get some sparring gloves. What is more commonly used, 14 oz or 16 oz.? Also, I think I'm getting Cleto Reyes. Good, or should I look at another brand?

Well they don't have much padding around the knuckles which is good for fighting cos it gives you a good punch but it isn't the best for training as you can hurt your sparring partners and your hands

i wouldnt use Reyes for sparring, their easy to hurt your hands with their more of a punchers glove. and most people spar with 16's

Heck yeah. I just got these and they're the best, most comfortable gloves I've ever put on. I got mine in 18 oz.

get 16 oz, most trainers that I know wont let you spar with 14 oz
