Platinummatt! ,
Well, I think I might be a good resource. I've been using many of Ross's training methods since 2003-4, but only very seriously until at about the end of 2005...
Ross has two books out right now: Infinite Intensity, and Never Gymless. I own both! But since you are asking about 'NG' I'll tell you a little more about it. In his book he outlines both the physical and scientific aspects to the most beneficial exercises. He outlines the best exercises for: pulling/pushing strength, lower body, isometric, core, and conditioning. He also shows you a good way to make your own athletic program design (whether your a competitive fighter or anything else). Also he explains good nutrition!
My experience with NG is that I followed Ross's 50 day example plan (which is very tough btw). Then upon finishing the 50 day plan, I started my own more boxing specific plan which I still use (still using Ross's exercises and principles).
Anyways I hope this was helpful, I enjoy the benefits of using his material.

Never Gymless is an excellent book, I can't recommend it enough. Between that and Infinite Intensity you have an excellent resource that could help you improve conditioning and strength for boxing or just to stay in shape. I have a huge collection of fitness/boxing books and NG and II are the best of all of them.
