i have a good punch technique and i was wondering would doing 50 plyometric pushups a night help to increase my puncher power or would more push ups be of greater use.

Interesting Site... Can't help ya with the question though because I saw something about this being able to injure you if not done correctly so I don't wanna tell you something that I know little about.
Punchdrunk is the guy to ask.. he probaly has some tips.. or has atleast heard of this sort of training...

My gyms trainer uses them with us we do 20 of them then straigh on to 20 super slow push ups then 20 super fast push ups then a 30 second break an onto some more its helped my endurance more then my punching power but i've been doing them ever since i started boxing so I couldnt tell you exactly how much it helps the power of your punch.
