Any of you guys have high cheek bones?

I have really high ones, and if I get jabbed at least 30 times I usually get a bruise under my eye.I cant stand that, even if I out classed the sparring partner it always looks as if I got my ass handed to me.haha.

That ****s annoying.I wish I could do something about that besides not ever getting jabbed a few times.Which is impossible.

I do too and it was rediculous back in HS when I was seriously training. My teachers would even call my parents cause I always looked beat up coming into school.

I get bruises high on my cheekbones, just below the corners of my eyes a lot. Like, every couple of weeks. My friends make fun of me -- they joke that I must not be too good of a boxer b/c my face is always beat up. But they never want to come to my gym. . . . hmm. . . .

Never figured it might be part of facial structure. . . just figured I need to duck better.

i have pretty low ones, one of the guys at my gym has pretty high ones and in his last fight the guy only scored about 8 points on him and he had two black eyes from pretty weak shots, just unlucky.

Yup I have the exact same problem because of the cheekbones. You just have to learn to keep your face covered. especially if you're planning to go pro, because we all know that judges sometimes 'score blood'.

Were I single, that is EXACTLY the time I'd go clubbing. With my friends talking up the fight in front of every girl in the place. Instant alpha male.
