    Hey im starting boxing

Hey ive just been searching the internet and as ive bought a bag and some other exercise things so i joined up

im 16, 17 in 4 days and i am overweight this is the reason i am gettin back into boxing to get into shape i was just looking for some advice on what i plan to do.

Mon- 30 mins on treadmill weights (10k 12reps 4 sets) 30 mins heavy bag work
Tue-30 mins on treadmill 30 mins heavy bag work
Wed-30 mins treadmill 30 mins heavy bag work
    Thur-30 mins treadmill weights (10k 12 reps 4 sets) 40k bench 10 reps 4 sets
Fri-30 mins treadmill 30 mins heavy bag work
    Sat-weights (10k 12 reps 4 sets) 40k bench 10 reps 4 sets
    Sun-1 hour heavy bag work

This may seem not very much to people on here but as i am wanting to lose the FAT before i build the muscle.. this is becuase the doctor says i have alot of muscle under my fat due to my size i dont want to try to bulk up as i wud be huge and that not what i want.

Ok about the advice i was hoping that someone who live in the UK could help me with an diet plan so i know what to eat and when as i am not good at this because food is my downfall..

I also would apreciate some advice on the exercise i am doing at the moment

thanks for your time and please if u have nothing constructive to say or helpful say nout

    thanks

    Alex

That seems like quite a good program to start with. You will learn the basics and burl the lbs.

    How much do you weigh?

Do plenty of running mate. I used to be 260. Started running 5 times a week and it just falls off. I'm about 190 now and still run about 6 miles 5 times a week.

First time I ran, about half a mile killed me but just keep at it and you'll get better and it will get easier.

Aslong as you work hard at it and stay dedicated there's no reason you can't lose the weight.

Just cut out junk food for now and aslong as you exercise the weight will fall off to start with. Drink Plenty of water aswell. Around 2 litres a day.

If you're exercising hard it will come off fast. You could easily lose 15 - 20lbs over 2 months if you stick at it. the bigger you are the faster the weight comes off.

Try and stick to a steady 2-3lbs a week and keep working hard.

another good thing to do is take a picture of yourself now then take another in 6-8 weeks to see your progress.

there's no better feeling than personally seeing how well you're doing.
