    abs exercises

    anyone know any good ab exerises i know about leg raises, sit-ups and crunches but im looking to add a bit of variety and i get the feeling that my bodies kind of adapted to the above 3 exercises.

    a good one is that you tense your stomach and do little jumps as if you were skipping i do 2mins x 3 and it works you feel your abs working and shaping up

      The Bicycle Chair is supposedly the most effective form of ab training and good for the obliques.

      The motions consist of:

      1. Lie face up on the floor and lace your fingers behind your head.
      2. Bring the knees in towards the chest and lift the shoulder blades off the ground without pulling on the neck.
      3. Straight the left leg out to about a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning the upper body to the right, bringing the left elbow towards the right knee.
      4. Switch sides, bringing the right elbow towards the left knee.
      5. Continue alternating sides in a 'pedaling' motion for 12-16 reps.

      Sounds complicated.....but if you type it in youtube, you will see how its done.
