    Wrist and forearm strengthening

    Anyone do much in the way of using wrist rollers or hand grips to strenghten up wrists and forearms? Do you feel its made a difference to your power?

    i hear it does a little but what are some good workouts for the wrist and or the forearm?

      Your power is coming from your shoulder, body weight and movement ao I don't think it would have any effect on power. However, strong forearms are necessary for stamina (i.e. throwing a large amount of punches and keeping your guard up).

      For wrist and forearm excercises I stand with 6lb dumbells at my side and simply curl my wrists. Been doing this for months and my forearms have increased muscle and strength but my wrists have barely changed size.
