Which weight should i go for?

So im stuck between two decisions here! Im going to be carded next season, and im wondering whether to fight at light heavyweight or heavyweight. Heres a little info, im 17, 18 in june. Im 6 ft 7 inches tall, and weigh around 102kg (around 225lbs?). Will it be worth the cut to light heavyweight? Or shall i gain more mass and fight heavyweight?
    Thanks

Light heavyweight is 81kg. You think you can get down there????

If you are 6.7 and 225 pounds it already means that you are pretty skinny. making it to 81 kilos is crazy.

i'm pretty much in the same position. i've been trying to get down to 141 for awhile. no dice. everyone says "just fight at your natural weight." well my natural weight is like 147-148. i'll be fighting at 152, but i know i'm gonna be small for that class, both in height at weight.

docter told me walkin at 150 140 is a perfect weightclass for me. 10 pound drop is fine... ur talkin a lot of weight... i wouldnt do it.. u will find urself in spots where u will cut the weight too early sometimes, or too late then u are gunna have to drain urself to get down.. fight at heavy for sure...

no boxer should try to kill themself to go down realyl far in weight.. 10-15 tops in my opinion

heavyweight, you'll gain more mass as you continue to develop

super heavyweight is 200 lbs (91 kg) and above, heavyweight is 81-91 kg, with u being 6''7 i think its best to just train and eat well and fight at super heavy

The problem with super heavyweight or fighting heavyweight is that im well built for my size, but a lot of my weight is in my legs (used to play rugby so got rugby players legs), so im sure there will be smaller guys than me who are much more powerful. Im not too good on all this nutrition and strength training malarky, so if anyone can advise me in the right direction that would be great!

^^ yeah i used to play a team rugby at school and football outside of school. but luckily as i grew in height i focussed on upper body workout and its worked itself out. just train hard, eat and see wat happens
