    Leg problem need help :)

Hey guys this is my first post and i have a question

i was born with a problem with my achilles tendon and i got 2 operations when i was small.i have been boxing for 3 month now and im left handed so i tried fighting southpaw but my right leg which is the one that leads is weaker than the other one smaller in size and is a little bit shorter. So when i fight i have a problem reaching other boxers with my jab because of my shorter leg and i lose balance when i get pushed back(im also small :P).I would like to know if it's good if i try switching to orthodox stance
so that my stronger leg leads and weaker one will be in the back or if there is another way to gain more balance and more reach.

sorry for my bad english thanks

wow, that's a weird situation man. in my opinion, it wouldnt seem right to switch to a different stance. for me, a stronger back leg would be ideal for a few reasons.. i use the momentum from my back leg to pounce with my jab moving forward, and also when taking a punch, i'd rather have a stronger back leg than front for a better centre of gravity since your upper body is already leaning forward.. that's my intake on this. I'd say stick to your stance and just perfect your technique, but if you're really curious, try switching stances for a session just to compare.. i personally wouldnt, but it wouldnt hurt to try
