    Boxing training and diet

Well for the last month I have been working out 6 days a week in the gym trying whip myself into shape. I have been watching videos of Zab Judah, and I admire his physique (no ****), and I am really looking towards getting a body like his. My diet is very high in protein, and moderate in fat and carbs (about 40-50g's fat and 150-200g's carbs). I started at about 17-18% bodyfat and im now down to about 12-14% in a little over a month. I do low intensity cardio for 30-45 minutes, 6 days a week after im done lifting weights. Is there anything im missing here or do I just need to give it some more time?

Edit: Started at 5'7" 168lbs, now im at 5'7" 154.5lbs
Also, my gym doenst have a punching bag or speed bag :/ Are there any excercises the boxers do to enhance their shape? They have a jump rope so I can try that too

I think you should be doing more intensive cardio. I'd definitely use the jump rope - great for burning fat and developing stamina. Do you run?

Yeah I used to run a mile a day until about 2 weeks ago. I had read a thing in a fitness magazine saying low intensity cardio is better for fat burning

Yea give it more time, it takes more than 1 month for most people to see a significant drop in weight. You are doing good if you already dropped 10 pounds after 3 months you will lose alot more weight if you keep it up. Now that you are in better shape sprints and jump rope are great for losing weight.

yeah, you're about the same size as me. in september i was up to around 165, 166. i'm now down to around 150. i'm sorta stuck at this weight.

i'm 5'6" and would ideally like to get down to 141 to fight, but i just can't seem to take off those extra 7 or 8 lbs. i usually weigh about 146 after sweat loss. i'll be fighting at 152 the next two weeks, but hopefully after that my coaches will give me some time to really focus on dropping weight before i fight again.

what does ur diet look like atm? if you're stuck at a certain weight I would say up ur cardio a little bit and maybe drop your calories? if you're not eating enough as it is it might be that ur metabolism is shot and ur not burning off more than ur taking in. If this is the case I would say take a week off the diet and eat normal, maitenance amount of calories to get ur metabolismn back up
