    need advice or suggestions

    ok im beginning to start to get in shape so i can be prepared for whats going to come ahead(god willingly) but i wasnt sure of the daily nutrition.
    i was going to go buy alot of fruits but wasnt sure of what or how much. what do you guys have in mind for me.
    p.s. i love fruits! lol

    first off man...you need to balance your nutrition if you want to get in shape...eating just fruits wont do it for ya...no matter how much you love them...

    you need to find out your caloric intake...

    and then from there you need to find the right foods that will help you to get to your ideal weight/fitness level.

    veggies....i hate um...but they are important...
    one daily vitamin...stock up...
    white meat....youlll start to live off this stuff...
    red meat is good too just make sure its lean and a good cut...
    carbs are good and bad...you have to balance them due to how much you exert yourself...what you dont use will become fat...

    ....
    there are probably some things i am missing...if you scope out this forum you will find lots of great info on dieting...since it is a main topic here.

      ok cool ima research some up thanks. but if any one could like have a ballpark range of how many carbs fats protein and ect i should be eating a day would be great. also i will be running one mile every morning. for more fitness and fat burning. comment if bad idea

        i've been losing, (and this is not water weight) .4 lbs per day on this diet...

        1/2 of a can of unsweeted pineapple chunks in the morning, rinsed off with water

        1 orange for lunch

        if I begin to starve i drink a conconction known as pentabosol, its basically kind of a gum that fills you up...

        around 5 or 6 i'll eat a dinner that contains a decent amount of protein but not more than 250 calories...and that's IT...nothing else...very important u intake no sugar other than that from the fruits...

        The transformation has begun......................

          I wouldn't drink that pentasobol **** if I were you. It's pure chemical **** that your body shouldn't be taking in. If you want something to simply fill you up, but don't want to have many calories, eat celery or g****fruit.

          If I were you, I would be looking to eat a bit more, but, at the same time, exercise more. I'd think you'd get into shape faster.

            Credits for your dedication, but I think your losing too much weight too fast. Like sukhenkoy said, probably eating sensibly and exercising is better, the weight will come off in a natural rate...

              ok cool but thats the thing im not sure of whats good and whats not like wat should i be looking for on the boxes of the food all i kno is eat as little calories possible..

                Just make sure that the food you buy in boxes doesn't have any preservatives or other added chemicals. Quite honestly, I don't know what kind of food you are trying to buy that comes in boxes, but, usually, boxed food does have the preservatives, so I would just stay away from them.

                Eat more fruit. More vegetables. Stay away from sugar and salt. Buy meat from a local supermarket and make it yourself. Cook rice yourself. Stay away from these ready-to-eat meals as they're usually ****.

                  lol nah i meant like the nutrional boxes. and im going to just shop at whole foods mart theyre all more natural, uhh i think generic is the term or not geneic? lol whichever is the healthier term its that one
                  and i should use little to no oil or butter right?

                    On the box look for stuff that has low number of fat grams per serving. (I would say low is around 10 or lower, but the lower the better if i was u i would get about 35-40 fat grams a day). also look for stuff that is high in protein (but not too high, I would say a good number of protein grams is 15-25 grams). No bad Carbs a.k.a carbohydrates their are good carbs you can eat. No more fried food at all. If you eat red meat make sure it is lean. Eat more white meat (chicken,fish) dont forget to eat ur fruits and vegies.
