you got any amateur experience? if not, i highly advise you learn your trade rather than doing on job training. you can have the mental state and all the heart in the world, but if your not good enough you'll lose. you don't wanna be another andrew hartley do you?

its my dream to go one day, but whether it'll be a good dream or a nightmare I don't know. i know for a fact i won't be a top level boxer.

Nice. Go to a gym and tell a coach you would like to go pro. Have them train you. Take some starting AM fights and then see what ya think about going pro.

      Good luck...

If it is pure desire and love of the sport than waste no time and get after it, follow da1's advice and don't waste a second.

            lol

you can' start boxing at 22 and expect to make a living from it, dont matter how much heart you got

unless you are a unbelieveable talent

            sorry

but guys like judah, hatton, mayweather were boxing when they were 6, 10 and 3

don't let that discourage you from learning to box and fighting in the am leagues though

Shutup cooper, loads of people started boxing at a late age and became succesful. Nate cambell, tony thompson... Besides who in the right mind would do boxing only to be succesful? clown.

get down to a boxing gym , tell a trainer what you want to do and get going man

more likely than not you will have a few amateur bouts beforehand, its a safer enviroment to learn your craft and whether you like boxing or not

you will probably train for at least 6 mnths before your first bout...you should get under 200 lbs eventually

                but good luck mate....

Start walking everywhere. Don't take the elevator take the stairs, walk to the store, etc. You need to get your weight down and build up slowly. Do SHORT-SLOW runs (10-15min) so you don't hurt yourself and walk hard when you can't run. You're out of shape and everything you do will help, so find something fun to do like frisbee or playing ball where you can get in a lot of hours of conditioning. Start dieting and get your weight way down and if you have STAMINA and heart you'll do fine.
