in my opinion it doesn't sound like enough. the amount of rounds makes it seem like a lot but in reality that's only 3 hours a week of technique work. some people do train in a combination of that or all in one day. to the average person its probably enough or a lot but if it were me and i am to train to fight, id probably do more, maybe 3x+ that in an ideal situation excluding school, work and personal life in a week.Last edited by g0tcha; 03-05-2009, 10:16 PM.

well on average i do 4 rounds shadow boxing, 4 rounds heavy bag, 3 or 4 rounds on the bag, 3 or 4 rounds on double end bag, 3-4 rounds on uppercut bag, and a few days i spar 3 or 4 rounds .. so that looks like 20 rounds a day 4-6 days a week and thats not including roadwork and jump rope

Yeah with me I do 3 rounds shadowboxing, 3 rounds rope, 3 more rounds shadowboxing, 3 rounds jabbing at the heavy bag (single, double, and then triple), 3 rounds 1-2 hook combo, 3 freestyle combo, and then 3 burnout rounds. So thats 21 rounds a day on average and i train 4-5 days a week. So about 80 rounds. I'd say no..60 is not enough. And I think my training is light.
