    PAL Boxing

Hey guys just a quick question.

I see a lot of you that box with your local PAL boxing club. I went in to PAL today to see what the boxing fees were and they said that only kids up to 18 can enroll in boxing. Is that common in other cities?

wtf? who told you this? that's foked up.

I've seen many pal gyms around Cali enroll kids up 18 and over 18 and up.
The only thing they dont allow is the same hours of training, usually the hours for kids up to 18 are 4-6 while 6-8 is over 18.

    Where you live at?

it all depends, some pal gyms are broke these days dude, they dont got monney to support alot kids so thats the real reason. PAls are funded by donations, in this slumpin economy no one is donating anymore. Government aint dishin out money to pals nomore.

Well this PAL charges fees. It's something like $15/month for boxing. And then there's open gym for basketball thats $3 a head. So they do make money off membership. But I hear what you're saying.

            hmm...Airforce could be right.

I never heard of it, but with this slumping economy, you might reconsider.

Anyways, you should find a better gym if your going to pay. I go to one that is really nice and modern. Pay 20 dollars a month and they have almost all types of equipment from the rings, heavy bags, speed bags, to treadmills. Really Worth it.

I train for free at a new gym with brand new equipment.
