Could use some help, which standing heavy bag?

Hello,

I hope this is the correct place to post this so here i go:

Since i live in a dormer i can't hang up a Heavy Bag since it probably takes the roof down with him when i hit it to hard.

So now i've looked into some standing boxing bags but i have no clue what the better/durable brands are for standing bags.
One of my old trainers in the gym i was says some good things about WaveMaster but i found it pretty expensive (it's almost €390 / $550 here).

I found some and like to know what are the pros and cons about them and if anybody has some personal experience with them.

I put the prices with it since my next question will be:
Is the price difference between the WaveMaster and other standing bags worth it? (around €150,- to €100,- in difference).
It's a lot of money for me, so what is better about the WaveMasterXXL? Or in other words; what can i do more with it than a regular heavy standing bag?

And those torso-like 'bags', I know they are good for technique and accuracy but can you go 'all out' on it like on a real heavy bag or will it just fall down?

And I can't find much info about the quality of Taurus, is it any good?
Also can't find a site, only thing i find is the Taurus brand for guns etc.

And for those who have used a standing bag before, is it advised to put a rubber mat under it? Even when filled with sand?

Some info:
I have trained a couple of years 'for fun' boxing, or Recreational Boxing as they tend to call it here.
Both of the trainers i trained with left the gym and now there is some guy who knows **** about teaching, so i quit the gym (came out better since in have not much spare time) and am looking for a bag to train at home.
For the reason above i can't use a hanging Heavy Bag otherwise i would use the same as the gym.
Do regular boxing, no kick boxing.

If any information is needed, please let me know.

Only thing is, i have checked the shops near me and they have two stand:

The one you posted but that one doesn't look very secure/strong, but that can be my view.

And another one from Century, which cost a overrated €400,- excl. bag/speedbag.


That is to much money for me (and for what you get).
Plus that i want something that i can easily move around, so that it isn't in the middle of my room all day.
Those stands, while there is a bag on it, don't look very easy to move.. Is my guess.

Does anybody has experience with that Everlast Stand for Heavy Bags?

(O and as an example of the prices, that thing of $129,- ..
Here in The Netherlands you pay a criminal-high €199,- (or $248) ..

I have one that has a heavy bag, speed bag and double end bag. They are nice, But you need to get sand bags(Alot Cheaper Than Weight Plates) It takes about 100- 200LBS TO HOLD IT STEADY...............Just get a 100LB bag to hang. I don't know where you are but look on craigslist.com or ebay.com............ I got mine which holds Heavy Bag/Speed Bag/Double end bag for $100 total. It costs $399.99 plus $65.00 shipping from titleboxing.com

To bad we don't have something like Craiglist here.
Will try Ebay tomorrow but already guess that the shipping-costs will be killing.

Ive got a BBE punching man torso thingy, Ive had it for ages and its seriously not durable at all even though the advert says otherwise, Ive smacked the head off it twice (got a replacement first time as it was still in warranty) and the one Im using now is ripped to shreds, Its gaffa taped up to hell just to keep it togther, although it probably wont last much longer, another annoying thing is that if it does rip, everytime you hit it little red bits of foam go all over the floor.

If you havent got any space for anything else though like me then the do the job (just about).

edit:

Ive also had to tape up the actual pole/stand thing as the constant ****ing messed up the screws.

basically its probably not designed for a heavy bag session

I checked Ebay for the Boxing Stand and i can get it for €177,- from The U.K.
So who knows what the shipping price will be

Anybody knows something about the quality of this thing?

All i know is that it cost an unreal €350,- in the 'real' stores in The Netherlands.
So it's almost half price.

Is this better than the Century Wave Master?

That century one is pretty nice, My friend has one. Speed bag drum vibrates some but you can just tape a sand bag on top of it. If you can afford it i'd get that. There are no stores near you that carry heavy bags? I guess Walmart hasn't finished taking over the world yet!

We have plenty of stores with a big choice of Heavy Bags.
Only thing they don't carry, is the stands.. We only have some wall-mounts or for the ceiling. (And that is not going to work.).

So i can get the WaveMaster XXL shipped for €285,-
Only thing i like to know is: (just want every option looked at before i buy something )
What is not so good about the WaveMaster XXL?

I find the Century Boxing stand very nice myself, it even has a place for a speed or double-end bag.
But the problem is the size, since it is in my kind of small students-room i am wondering where to put it.

I think i can stuff the WaveMaster in the hallway but i don't see how i could move a massive Boxing stand (altough nicer) with an also heavy bag on it. Need to measure all the sizes.

No offence btw, just want to see all the other options. And a WaveMaster (since i hear good things about it) sounds nice so far because can roll it to another spot without much hassle (and damage to the floor).
