    Started boxing a week ago

    ok well hello everyone!first post on here!!!
    and i just started boxing a week ago at a whitecollar boxing club in the uk,
    i joined to lose weight and gain confidence and also hopefully take it on a amateure level. background info i am 17 years old and weight 16 stone and i am 5-9" so a little overweight, i have completly changed my diet too pasta and tuna, fresh fruit, oats, and a promax diet shake by maximuslce which i take after work out, basically i want to build my arm muscles(which are quite big already,,,from rugby) and lose weight, so iff anyone can give me some advice it would be gratefully recieved

    also luckly i have made friends with a ex bodybuilder at my club who has already shown me correct tecniques on machines and also taken me under his wing

      well i know less than you probably but ive been asking around and explosive strength and endurance is what matters. work up until you can run a hour every morning. for strgnt do the clap pushups and things with medicen balls. and just keep practicing punching things. but asi said i dont know ANYTHING cept what ive been told here yesterday
