yeah i post over there. haven't been doing many reviews lately.
heck, i haven't really been training boxing/muay thai lately either, just doing cardio and weights at gold's.


as far as those king gloves, the leather's almost like rubber.
they fit nice and snug.
you might even like 'em for sparring.
but imho they're not ideal for dedicated boxing training.

Twins and King are basically the same company, but the leather on the gloves is different.

Twins leather feels more normal; the only complaint i've ever heard about them is that they're practically pillows - definitely not a reyes type glove where you're busting people up real easy.

Twins fit real nice when you break them in, the design decision on the kings was to skip the break-in period but it sacrifices some of the stability, support, and possibly longevity of the glove.

Pro Box = Pro Mex?
ProMex I told you in the email, i hear good and bad - probably not a bad deal for the money, but it is a Title glove.

Title gloves are okay, but the padding isn't really up there with Winning, Grant, or Ringside and the leather is that India/Pakistan (sometimes China) Pu stuff that's real glossy and soft with a broken in feel, but kinda thin and not all that durable. I've had a lot of problems with the ink bleeding out of the leather into my skin with Title gloves.

Triumph, I haven't tried, but I believe their leather is similar to Title. Their padding might be on the level of Ringside (not sure). The design is HEAVILY Winning influenced.
