You do need some work but you're only 13 which is good. For now try keeping your hands up, watch your footwork and try to remember while you're punching to keep your other hand up. dont try to be fast, dont try to punch hard, focus on technique. Dont create any bad habits now trying to punch hard and been fast without knowing basics. If you train by yourself, checkout this thread and stick to that.
