I was really nervous but I'm much more relaxed when I'm in the ring now. Do you do some boxing yourself because you seem to know quite a bit and have a good eye for boxing.
yes..i have followed boxing since youth...i actually am trained by a current pro boxer jonathan Reiddawg Reid....only had 2 amateur fights won em both..honestly i should have more..but since Reid goes and spars a lot with people like A Abraham...i get left here without a coach..and well when he is gon...i get put in charge of the coaching lol...i dont know it all but i can def teach the basics to a beginner boxer....but he says like u said i got a good eye for some things...i wish i could practice what i preach tho lol..easier to say than do of course...and yeah u will prob always get nervous i do and i've sparred tons of rounds but u will feel a more controlled nervous if that makes since

That's watsup I'll have to look out for this guy Reid, did he ever tell you how it was sparring with AA? That's cool that you fought in the amateurs before that's wat I plan on doing as soon as I am finished up with school and have more time on my hands. Where do you train out of, I mean like what city you in? Also, do you have any videos of any of your fights? And that's true about the nerves although I am more relaxed now. But I used to play basketball and football and before games I would get butterflies in my stomach, but that feeling is way more intense when I am about to spar, I guess it's just because you are kinda in a way purposefully putting yourself in harms way lol idk?

You have good movement, you sure don't look like a first timer. More like someone who's sparred for a month or so.

Thanks for the comments!, and that actually was my first time sparring. The closest thing that I would do to sparring before this video was catch-and-return drills with my coach.

That is my old coach in the blue hat and I guarantee that she can kick half the dude's azzes who post on here lol.

That was my first time ever getting in the ring and sparring with someone, but I was already learning how to box since I was 18.

But thanks man, I do a ton of shadow boxing tho I mean almost anytime there is a mirror around I will shadow box especially in a restroom lol. Also, my coach was really big on footwork so she would have us spend half of the practice just moving around, pivoting, and dipping.

From 118 to 130 that's watsup, you're probably really quick, can I ask how are you able to put on the extra pounds because adding weight is the hardest thing for me to do?
I'm gradually moving up in weight, I'm only 17 so it's pretty much natural to do so. Yeah, I'm quick, but not for my weight class, haha.

Nice footwork for being your first time. I box in the same weight as you 126-132, I'm 5'8 tho. You look alot like the guy I fought in my sig lol, only he's 6'1. How many fights do you have now? I got a couple of my fights recorded, let me know if you wanna see them.

Thanks! And I have ZERO amateur fights so far but when I am done with school in May 2011 that's when I'm gonna start getting some actual fights in. I go to school full-time and work part-time (almost full-time) so I don't always get to go to the gym like I would like to. But yea, I would like to see some of your fights. I saw the fight that you have gif'ed in your sig when you posted it up not to long ago. I also think it was you who put up a sparring vid and you looked really good on there (or maybe it was someone else but i think it was you). But yea definitely go ahead and post some more fights or direct me to them if they are already up.

Sorry if you already told it, but how old are you? How long have you been training for?
