want to start training help please

Hello I am going to start training, and eventually do boxing training, but my goal right now is to trim up and get a 6 pack which means cut all of the excess fat off, I have a few questions any help would be appreciated:

    1) I know a lot of my gym routine will be cardio, I will be going 5 days a week on the treadmill, should I be doing 20 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training or 45 minutes of jogging at a steady pace? or a mixture of both on alternating days?

    2) I should be doing weight training as well so I will be incorporating squats, lunges, curls, as well as leg/shoulder/back exercises. I plan on doing something like 45 minutes on cardio side/ 25 minutes on weight training side per day, does that sound about right for my fat loss goals?

    3) Diet will be one of the most important parts, I plan on trying to get 4-6 small meals in a day, I plan on meal replacement shake as first meal, having carrot snacks/granola bars, and a protein bar after workout. For fat loss is this a good routine to have, should I not be consuming a protein bar after workout since I am only wanting fat loss at this stage? Would a 6 inch whole wheat pizza or colecut sub daily be ok?

Let me know your opinions thanks

Switch up the running, you can't do a high intensity run everyday, you'll burn out quick. High intensity run should be 3 times a week tops, do a longer lite run in between when possible.

The weight training sounds good, just make sure to do lots and lots of core work. And don't do that sitting around between reps getting water every second BS. Stay active and keep that heart rate up. I highly recommend using this site for tips.

Don't eat pizza or subs for losing weight dude. Veggies and a protein is all you need. I recommend buying a juicer or going to a juice bar to get all your veggies in. Slow cut Steel cut Oatmeal and Sprouted Bread.

Bread is useless, unless its sprouted bread, You have to buy it frozen in a health foods store. But it's stacked with nutrition because the enzymes are still alive. Basically, anything except meat that is overcooked (veggies/bread) is useless because your destroying everything in it that's good for you.

And anything that is highly processed is foreign to the body which is why it's hard for you to break it down. Including Colecuts, the only colecut I would eat is roast beef, turkey, or chicken breast.

Also, don't forget to get your sleep. Sleep effects you just as much as everything else. gluck

Most people don't understand how bread works. Whole Wheat bread is not bad, but what the heck does it really do but help you poop a little bit? Bread is basically a completely empty calorie. As far as evolution goes it's still foreign to our bodies. If you must eat bread than yes, whole grain is the best, because it doesn't burn up as fast as white bread.

If your eating for performance reasons though you should be eating Sprouted Bread. It's the only bread with living enzymes that is extremely high in nutritional content.

For getting 6 packs you have to strengthen your abdominal muscles and lose body fat. This looks simple, but putting it into action is not simple at all. It will take dedication, time and patience to get a six pack but in the end, the effort is well worth it.

Thanks for the replies, I am planning on getting the myoplex shakes and balance bars for my protein, are they good choices to have daily? any other suggestions if it is not the most healthy choice?
