    How long do u guyz rest be4 ur fights ?

    just wanna know how u guyz rest before fights...
    do u still train until the fight day or do u train lightly the last week when u fight ???

    the best thing what works for me is after 4-8 weeks hard training i just train very lightly in the last week and eat more carbs on the last 2-3 days every night, and no training on the last 2 days just relaxing my full body and maybe doing some light ab workouts.
    and 2-3 weeks before my fights i stop lifting weights.

    1 or 2 days

    fight can come up late minute though u see

      Fights are usually saturday, so I will train hard monday and tuesday, lightly on wednesday, really light (almost nothing) on thursday, and then rest friday.

        I usually do the same as ScottDBA, although in future I'm going to start using some fights as training, and will just train straight through.

        But for your first few fights, always go into the ring fully rested. Always have the day before off, and don't do any hard training or running from 2-3 days out.

          3 days of nothing but stretching and some light shadowboxing. I don't lift weights anyways so that's a non-issue.
