    Dextrose tablets during diet ok?

    During a diet i sometimes dont have enough energy while doing boxing training, so im thinking of taking one dextrose tablet while doing heavy exercises that puts sugar (glucose) directly into my bloodstream for energy, but would this hamper my fat loss process?

    No, not really. Insulin spikes during intense training sessions are usually good.

          u sure its energy and not desire/mental toughness ur lacking? somehow robinson, ali, hagler, etc. made it thru training without dextrose.

            Dextrose is really the same as having a candybar or a piece of bread before training, just a bunch of sugar

              Okay guys, thanks to the testimony forum poster Mushahadeen in the year 2011, we have established that no greats of the past ever used a sugar hit of some form before training. Therefore we should all abstain from it.

                    dextrose is the simplest sugar so it breaks down the fastest. personally i prefer to eat complex carbs - pasta before a workout because they're more slow and steady burning but our of all sugars dextrose is probably the best
