    What are the traits of a great combination Puncher(Coaches and volume punchers only?

    Please help any tips coaches or any other volume punchers can give me is greatly appreciated thanks


    My coach said i have the potential to be a very good volume puncher


    So i am asking for tips on combination/volume punching Or if you want you can list traits i need to be a good volume puncher

    well, first of all you've got to be in amazing shape. second of all you throw a lot of punches. done.

      I was going to say the same thing. Just work on throwing combos wile sparring and you are going to need to be in great shape. I am also a volume puncher and have really been putting my work in on my combinations. The double end bag really helps the most for me with that. Its more realistic with timing then just burning them of on the heavy bag and helps with accuracy.

        In addition, you're going to need to scale back your power and work on speed and combos. Then mix the occasional power punch into your flurries. Impossible to throw every punch hard when you're throwing hundreds of punches.

                Balance!!! You need to have good balance, a good stance, good body position after each punch so that you can throw another punch, and also keep in a good defensive position in case your opponent throws back.
