Yes you can learn it. It's popular in bodybuilding circles.

Mind Muscle Connection basically refers to when you lift or workout that you focus your mind on the muscle and feel it working as you lift. Imagine it contracting as you lift. Which is supposed to lead to a more effective workout, as opposed to simply going through the motions.

I believe there is such a thing. Most of my cousins look naturally more athletic than me,but few out perform me because my mind is made up that I won't be outdone & I may be sweating before them or take a couple long gasps but at the end of it all,I'm the 1 left standing.

its kinda like this but it really dosnt improve your work out, it just lets you flex the muscle easier when your not working it, like how arnold or hulk hogan makes thir pecs bounce. because they work their chests so much they have a better mind muscle connection and control their chest muscles better.

as said above its mainly something in body bulding because your main goal is to go up on stage flex and impress judges and if you dont have a strong mind muscle connection you cant flex the muscle as well.

it really dosnt help your preformance one way or the other.

A lot of repetition, focus and visualization will help your muscles perform better in whatever it is you are doing. You know you are making progress when you are laying in bed just visualizing your technique and your body responds. Before you go to sleep is the best time to visualize I found.

i always concentrate on a certain muscle when im working it out in the gym. for example when im doing Biceps. when i perform a bicep curl i focus directly and picture my bicep muscle and that muscle only in my mind when i lift. idk if its just something in your mind but it makes me do a more perfect formed curl and i feel it much more.
