I know this might sound ****** but I'm a guy who's working myself up to become the best fighter I could be, I weight train in the morning and do my gymwork/running in the evening and night. Around noon, I have quite alot of free time, am I supposed to be slacking off during the day like sit in front of my pc or whatever or is there any additional training I can add to my routine? I hear boxers run or gymwork all day and have no free time whatsoever. Yes, it's pretty ******, but any opinions are greatly appreciated.

hey bro thats just how it is, i get up in the morning and do my road work, 2 days a week in the morning i do weights, 1 day in the morning i do sprints and agility stuff at about 6 am, im done around 715 or so, then i got a couple college classes, then i got to the gym 6 days a week at 6pm till 9.
i do got a bit of free time during the day, thats about the same amount of work most pro's do during camps i kind of copied it from amir khans workout plan

thanks, i can agree with that. its the same for me as school days, but im in summer vacation right now, and my workout menu doesn't actually change, and I feel like I'm slacking off. should I do more running or lift more weights as I have more spare time than usual?

i wouldn't worry about it man, your plan seems solid. you gotta realise that pro's do this for 8 week camps before a fight, then they take time off.
you dont want to overwork yourself either, boxing if your doing it right is fairly boring and repetative. its the same drills on the pads, bags, etc etc every day until its just natural. your body will be in condition in no time if your working out and running like you say, so just stick with it and enjoy it man, the lessons you learn in the gym go past just the fight game. so just stick with it man, it takes years and years to become a pro if you want to do it right.
