What do you think of this alternative way to slip?

Instead of slipping but bending at the hips or waist directly, you attempt to move the head first and then the body will naturally follow the head.

You may argue its the same but try both methods they feel completely different.

1 minute 14 into the video.

With a normal slip you bend at the hips or waist with the intention of doing just that. (at least thats how ive been doing it)

With this method you bend at the waist/hips with the intention of moving only your head.

Theres a different sequence of events, with the method shown in the video the first muscle to contract is your neck muscles, as you try to move the head, very shortly followed by the wasit and hips. (its strongly wired into most animals that the body must follow the head, and thats what this slipping technique takes advantage of)

In a normal slip there is no muscular contraction in the neck muscles its all hips.

Nah seen this slip a bunch and use it sometimes. The thing is if you keep slipping like that your opponent's gonna know where you're going because moving your head that much is gonna throw you off balance if you want to go the other way and you'll end up walking into hooks.

if u throw cross the same everytime
if u step to your left everytime etc
