If you train right, targeting certain muscle groups and rep it out (pull ups, dead lifts, squats, pylometric pushups, Russian twists with medicine ball, etc) alongside your boxing, the body should attack its fat stores as a 1st point of call for its energy. You may lose some muscle mass but not too much

Isnt it something like 'Abs are made in the kitchen not the gym?'

Hard to say, as everyone is different, Im sure someone will correct me if i am wrong but real world for the average guy who doesnt have an altitude room and can be hooked up to all sorts of computers in test lab conditions with the entire university science faculty analysing data, then yes, you are probably not far off @ 15-20% muscle loss per 1lb of weight

So 3,500 calories for 1 pound of fat 7000 a week for 2?

How do you know how many lbs = fat loss as apposed to just weight loss?

Losing 10lbs is meaningless to me I want to loose 10lbs of fat
There's way too many variables that go into how much muscle mass is lost to tell you a flat figure. If you do everything right and have a high protein intake and lift weights regularly it shouldn't be too much. If you only do cardio and don't eat much protein it could be a lot. It's up to you.

Find your BMR-1k Per day will = 2 lbs per week. I would do 500 and let exercise do the rest though. There isn't a set time, belly fat is almost always the last to go. Look into CLA, a good supplement for fat loss, a lot of studies on it.

Google Leptin Rx by Jack Kruse, complete it and then get back to cutting.

You've been cutting for months if not more now and you're still obsessing over it. That should tell you something. Take a break.

google lyle mcdonald- rapid fat loss. dont need to buy the book, some forum bodybuilding bro will have the outline of it somwhere. Youll lose a lot of weight very quickly, ive done it twice. works out about something like 500 cals a a day for 2 weeks, its hell but if you are serious about losing fat quick, that will do the job.
