i only downloaded the jack dempsey one ive been searching for and combat conditioning to see how it is even though i heard it sucks...i dont know if the others work...
Thanks for posting this. I almost ordered Combat Conditioning once, but I heard that it was overrated so now I'll get to see for myself. I was having trouble downloading some of the books from the rapidshare site, I was interested in reading Bulletproof Abs, just to see his theories on obtaining "bulletproof abs".
I downloaded the Dempsey book awhile ago from a similar link and it's a worthwhile addition to my collection.
yeah, i downlaoded it and it ******...well, its not close to never gymless atleast...
the jack dempsey one i downloaded off rosstraining once but i deleted it and the link there was dead so i googled it and that forum came up so i posted it here...
I read through Combat Conditioning, like I said I was always curious about it on account of the attention it gets, both positive and negative (more negative). It's....not bad. Gives a good number of exercises to start you off and shows pictures of how to perform the exercises, although it could show even more pictures of the motions applied to many of those exercises.
That said, it doesn't hold a candle to Never Gymless, or any of Ross Enamait's other books, for that matter. NG goes into far more detail with excellent scientific explanations of the mechanics of exercises (the hows and the whys) with many more exercises and Ross doesn't spend half the book trying to sell you on other programs. You can do well with Combat Conditioning, I don't think the book is a piece of ****, but you can do so much better with the Ross books or John Peterson's Pushing Yourself To Power.
I downloaded many of the other books. Furey's Combat Abs isn't bad. I hear much about how his stuff is crap or that he's a rip off artist. He is certainly a businessman with all of the types of books he has to sell, but the book does have some good information, some of which overlaps with other books.
I really enjoyed the Big Book of Combat by Bas Rutten, that one had a lot of information. I would have liked to have downloaded the Pavel books, but Rapidshare gives me a hard time downloading.
A lot of good material there.
