I’m naive…how do prisoners get access to narcotics in prison? Or they getting high off the stolen amonia/bleach from the chemicals when on duty cleaning?

There’s a number of ways to get drugs in to a prison. It could be as easy as sending it in the mail on a “happy card” (A card sprayed with drugs).

It mostly gets in with the help of corrupt corrections officers.

That’s interesting. I was thinking that the atmosphere is already low end that not much surveillance or investigation is cared for even if a prisoner needs medical attention. It would just seem like the source is tracked down.

I googled that. I’d imagine prison facilities would have dogs sniff out mail as protocol. In another post I made. It could be that in this state industry nobody cares the nature of inmate culture tbh…
