All I got from this is you need your hand held.

The Greeks discovered the atom.....my whole entire point with the atom had to do with known atomic physics. Name me a Greek physicist....name me a Greek who even in as vague terms as the atom you're talking about, perceived an electron. What the ****? I have to go out of my way and point out I mean the scientific discovery that is the atomic structure and its physics? Atomic physics didn't cover that? It'd be mean for me to call you dense right now?

On snap, the electron wasn't a known thing until the late 1800s....hmm....

The atom in the quran is translation. Spec also works. You don't see the term atom in versions of the quran that pre-date the English term atom.....duh....they must have used a different english term...also duh.....

The discovery of the atom and islam's discovery of the atom are two separate subjects with only loose connections.

So, once again, when the atomic physics debate hit islam there was a ruling. Since you know your history so well why not walk us through it? Oh ya can't? Would you like me to?

More of a point of fact than suggesting there are any such supernatural beings. I like Buddhism for the philosophy, not so much their take on an afterlife.

Ah .. now I understand. By "Islam's discovery of the atom" you mean Islam's reaction to modern atomic physics.

Re the questions in your last paragraph. I don't know anything about any Islamic ruling on the atomic physics debate and no, I don't want you to walk me through it. If it exists, I have ****** friends who will tell me about it, in intelligible English, without patronising or insulting me..
