I nearly turned it off at the mace scene....15 minutes in.
Eddie has fans who will think he's funny regardless.

I called my friend this morning while he was watching it. He was laughing at the guy Affion Crockett. But yeah I eventually watch it. From the previews it looked like Eddie phoned it in. Why I thought it would be trash, but I check it out

Dune 2 the latest one

it was good, not great. Long movie, can definitely fall asleep if you don't get your heart going. Very much a modern movie where all the screenplay and scripting is very ADHD. Little context between each scene and jump to the next with little lead in before the abrupt end.

Just to give you perspective -
The last Eddie movie I thought was funny ...Bowfinger and he wasn't the star.
Last starring movie, C2A

TBF, there's a bunch of shlt he's done that I haven't seen -
None of his animated stuff
Almost none of his sequels.
None of his dramatic roles (Life fcked me over...Comedy/crime/drama....there was no comedy)

Love Lies Bleeding (Crime/thriller)
Wasn't terrible. Better than I expected acting wise.
The story was ok if farfetched.

Dyke daughter of a towns boss man manages a gym.
Their family is pretty ***********al.
Ed Harris wig !!!!

Along comes a beefy woman training to win some bodybuilding competition in LV.
Romance and mayhem ensues.
Thankfully Kristen Stewart kept her clothes on.

Wasn't the man hating movie I expected

Yep

While I didn't think much of the 1st one, this was idiotic.
Due to one 4 legged creature.
WTF !!!!!

The FX were solid
The way the monsters were introduced was OK.

Regarding Maxxine, have you seen the 1st 2 ?
For me, Pearl (pt2) was a dud. Wasn't even horror.
1 was.......different and watchable.

Yeah only the second was considered horror but moreso a thriller.

I liked both, but I liked Pearl more, not often you have serial killer movies based on that time period. Plus I thought the acting should have won that girl an Oscar or nomination.

The 2nd one wasn't scary at all but was different, I liked the look and feel of the movie I wish remakes of horror movies looked liked that it really captured that time period.
