Prime Mikkel Kessler was a pretty decent fighter man. I don't see it with Froch, but he wins. I think he knocks the two of them out but they'd be competitive. We're not talking about Archie Moore at his very best here, he is a 40 year old man.

When exactly was Kesslers prime, and what was so good about him? His skills really aren't comparable to a 40 year old Moore.

Froch had plenty of trouble with Johnson. Moore is a different level to them.

Of course Moore would win. He's old and dead and the only highlights of him that exist are grainy black and white footage.

In boxing, that's the holy grail. You win every time, against anyone captured on color film, no matter what. There's no amount of critical thinking necessary, old, dead guys on black and white grainy footage are just always better.

It also helps a lot if they're American.

If it's 40 year old Archie, I see Carl and Andre might be able to beat him... Kessler is a great fighter and has GREAT fundamentals, good power - but he can be easy to read. I don't see him do it, he won't bring anything Archie can't handle or haven't seen.

if Taylor was at his best he'd merk everyone in the super 6. Thats what people forget. He's a shadow of his former self and even that shadow does well untill he tires.

Moore would beat most of them but Chicken Dirrels hand speed would give him problems and Ward is an overall good fighter so he would too.

prime Tayor vs prime moore at 168 is definitely a good fight though. If Moore doesn't catch him late he'd lose.

With second day weigh ins I'm still not sure if he could make 168 effectively, maybe if he really drained down. Yeah he made 175 but don't think he didn't cut weight even with 1 day. He probably cut 5-6 lbs. So thats almost 15 lbs he'd have to cut. Some can do it I suppose.
