There is a difference between just being on your feet, and being on your feet ready to fight. The referee has discretion to end the fight if he feels it appropriate. Foreman got knocked out. No controversy.

Only if you're going by the commentators 10 count. This has been questioned before. The refs count reached 10 before Foreman got up and that's the only 10 count that matters.

In all likelihood he would've just been knocked down again anyway, at that stage. His defense was hardly amazing, and his offense was near completely out of steam.
