soooo this would be the point where you have realized just how wrong you are, run out of logical arguments to make, and are forced to attack my character.

And that is how boxers should get their stamina in the ring not on the track.

If i didnt know what i was talking about i wouldnt talk about it. assasin#1 gave an excelent post and i had nothing bad to say about it. while you just seem to be purpoting bad information.

the issue with you trying to make a logical argument is that your argument is that running should almost be done away with in favor of weight lifting which isnt logical, thus your going to have a hard time making a logical argument to any man reguarless if they do or dont know hat their talking about.

im not attacking mma just the way that cookie cutter mma gyms half assedly train students while they suck as much money out of them as they can.

Ok lets put down a ball. You are right about those comercial mma.Know i will tell about my regime.I weightlift in the morning, every morning is a other type of training and with diffrent equipment. One day muscle endurance, strenght, exposivness. And in the evening I also do a diffrent routine. One day I work on heavy bag and with my trainer on combinations(shadow and jumprope always)Second they endurance on the bag...working on proper techique etc.And always do a 2km run before workout. So you see I really don't need to run like a maniac.

hey with the way you are right now you might even go pro at some point but your never going to be an atg unless you educate your self with lifting and percisely the muscles you want to work and start running 20+ miles a week

I wasnt assuming a body builder but instead that you were training like you had asked some personal trainer to train you for boxing while they themslefs have never done boxing.

as was said every one has a diffrent body and you should get to know it.

ultimately id say the best approach is to find those few weighted exercises that you feel help you the best, and you know the science behind why they help you. then incorperate them into your routine. like if you find shrugs, rows, and squats to be helpful then do them but theres no need to go to a gym for an hour doing all kinds of stuff just to keep the muscles guessing.

and i dont care if you insult me, unless you follow me around for a week continualy insultinng me, seconds after you say something its water under the bridge.

Their are a million and one ways to train with weights, some are helpfull for a boxer others are not. I been doing weight training for bulk and recently had a boxing match, i felt the muscles were just slowing me down, felt tight, stiff and sluggish so stopped the weights untill after my fight. But i know alot of science says u can build explosive power/speed with certain weight training such as Balistic training. Weight training should be an aditional and helpful tool at a boxers disposal NOT his main priority.
