Creatine > Any legal fat burner

When it comes to supplementation during a cut.
Creatine and Fish oil should be your supps staple, not whatever is the newest fad fat burner(to tell a secret they all work on combination of coffeine and sugar)

I don't think it's really a secret that fat burners use caffeine and sugar.

yes it does add water weight. I disagree with Brooklyn on this one. All you need to do is experiment for yourself, experiment for 6 weeks...then cut it off and witness what it does your physique

What creatine does is volumize the cells with water under your skin. So that makes your muscle actualy bigger. Bigger muscle burn fat faster then smaller muscle.
So creatine works in two ways, when it slims you down - removes the water from under your skin and makes your muscles work harder at fat burning.

i understand that more muscle burns more fat. but just pumping them full of water wont have the same effect will it?

Brook i have been thinking about creatine for a while now.. seem to have hit a peak and can't go further.. got a good diet and have protein shakes etc before/after gym. Thing is i hear so much stuff about Creatine i just don't know what to believe (good and negative)

Clearly you think its good so what would you say are the big positives and negatives?

Creatine doesn't just fill your muscles with water. The main thing that creatine does is recycle ATP. ATP is required for high intensity excercise and breaks down quickly, creatine recycles this allowing you to work harder for longer. So you work harder and that builds more muscle.
The muscle built by creatine is not an illusion.

As for creatine for fat loss, ye it can work if your taking it while lifting heavy if your diet is right. You won't build muscle on a calorie deficit though. So if you lift while taking creatine and you don't have a calorie deficit then you'll build muscle. That additional muscle will raise your BMR and that will cause you to loose fat.

I still think ******* is better for weight loss...

But yeah, creatine is good. It'll make you weigh more and look bigger, but it enables you to do more in a workout, thus enabling you to burn more calories. So when you stop using and your muscles deflate, you'll weigh less than you did when you started using it (unless you've been building muscle).
