How much do you run?

AM runs (pre-breakfast fat burner):
2 miles: usually 3 or 4 times a week, real light, 30 mins or so.
PM treadmill (gym warm up):
2 miles: 4 or 5 days a week, more intense, includes sprint bursts, 15-20 mins
Outdoor / roadwork on non-gym days & at night:
5 miles: 2 or 3 days a week, intense, fast, long, hard runs with hills if possible. PB is 34min for 5 miles.
I average 15-20 miles per week. I use iPhone app to track it all, really good app / site for tracking your miles, routes, times, etc.

I used to run every day but a string of leg injuries has set me back heavily. Shin splints ALL literally ALL last year, followed by 8 months rehabing blown out left knee. Finally recovered 100% begining of this month, then got a 2nd degree burn on my left quad down by the knee about the circumference of my fist. That is finally healing up.
But before then, I would run every day. The distance varied between 1-3 miles. Combined with stadium stair sprints and/or multiple 50-100 yard wind sprints.
My cardio was beasty specially when I combined that with the Instanity workout. I don't care how fit you are, Insanity workout will test your heart/will.

I never did much running
I never had a stamina problem or a weight problem, so I never did much running. I only ran 3 miles a day 4 days a week. If you don't like to run, you MUST spar a lot. I used to spar four, four minute rounds, five times per week. With only 30 seconds inbetween rounds. It was all I needed. But if you have a weight problem or are sucking wind by the third round you need to run -- and increase your sparring length and intensity. I should say, I was only an amateur, and never had to go more than four rounds. If I was a pro and had to go 8, 10, or 12 rounds, I would have upped my running.

jog a couple of miles daily - five times per week. i also bring my rope along for runs so that i can get my heart rate up. I have dropped from 230lbs to 205 - doing what i do, over the last two years+. and i can now go four rounds of sparring with my kids fairly easily if necessary.

Man, I think a lot of people here must either be
A) Full of ****
or
B) Unemployed
I can't see how anyone has time to run as much as a lot of people in this thread claim.
I barely manage to get 2-3 runs in a week, all 3 miles.
I spar 4-8rds a week, along with 1 day of just being at the gym working out.
At my peak of working out, I ran 4 times a week 3 miles a day plus intervals. Plus 6-12rds of sparring a weak and 2 other days at the gym just working out.
Worked part time then though...
I miss working part time

Even if you work full time you can still run every day. 8hrs is full time. From 9-5. That gives you 6-7 to put in work. You just gotta be dedicated.
