There was too much Covid money and that just made inflation worse. All that money is floating around and unless the Fed keeps interest rates high prices of everything will continue higher and there will be more homeless. Too many people have been living off of credit cards in the US. The only way to bring prices down is to keep rates high and bring down asset prices. The Big Dunn likes this.

Reading multiple articles indicates the rise in homelessness during the last year was due to the end of pandemic programs such as the eviction moratorium as well as jumps in rental costs, and the ending of COVID-era aid such as the expanded Child Tax Credit, stimulus checks and other supports has also led to a huge jump in poverty.
Let’s hope Congress gets it act together and does something to fix this. I don’t think the continued cucking to Trump by desperately trying to impeach ***** is going to fix the homelessness problem in America.
Sadly, but not surprisingly, the only Bill House **********s have recommended this year proposed cuts that would result in an estimated 2 million people being left without the rental assistance they need to obtain or maintain stable housing,
***** needs to try new approaches as well. He invested like $3 billion to fight homelessness back in May but it hasn’t worked because it mirrored the program In California that didn’t work as expected.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 12-18-2023, 10:41 AM.

- - Amen. My hometown currently empowers destruction every affordable house available to build MacCompounds for the new infill sociopathic Hot Shots, not even traditional homes any more.
All while pumping some $200 mil in housing record homeless while extorting tax money from traditional homeowners so they can finance their developmental ponzi scheme that has led to record crime, murders, traffic deaths, pollution such that the State has been comtemplating revoking longtime city home rule.

Yeah you want **********s to regulate rental costs. Good luck with that seeing as how they get much of their campaign funding from the owner class. They are not going to enact legislation to cut their profits.
Reminder- Trump is ok with foreign countries buying up land. Profit is all that matters to him.
Not so much the big banks but the big 3 conglomerates- Blackrock, Vanguard and the other one you and others have mentioned. We agree that they shouldn’t be allowed to control the housing market.
Now how can Congress address this problem when almost all of them have taken campaign money from these conglomerates?
***** threw a ton of money at the problem but that did nothing.
Imo we need more subsidies allowing for ownership or renting. ***** should look at what Houston did in 2019-20 to combat homelessness as a model.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 12-18-2023, 11:51 AM.

We elect officials to address problems Americans face. So yes, it is Congressā job to address problems like homelessness.
No one is trying to blame Trump you starstruck cuck.
You suggested one remedy would be to stop allowing foreign countries to buy land. I questioned that opinion by reminding you the person you support for President in the next election is in favor of letting foreign countries buy American land.
Donāt cowardly deflect away from that point. If you honestly think foreign land buying is the issue, your voting for someone that favors allowing it looks very suspect.
Got it- as usual you want to point the finger because the people you support have no salient policy ideas to address homelessness.
Again, ***** at least tried something to address the issue, showing he owned the problem.
Since his idea failed, I am looking to Congress to come up with some better ideas.Last edited by The Big Dunn; 12-18-2023, 12:07 PM.

there's plenty of resources out there to help the real homeless peeps.. 90% of the homeless you see out there, they dont want help. they choose to live that life. they are druggies. there is nothing we do can to help them.. every once in a while, i'll throw them $20 for drug money.. some say im wrong for doing that but I bet I made that homeless person's day...
