Originally posted by LordVoldemort View Postmaybe because most of holyfields fights were wars with guys younger and bigger than him, holyfields 12th pro fight was a tough 15 round fight with Qawi for the cruiserweight title
wlad has had no tough wars in his career, he doesnt mix it up, because the 3 times he has he was KTFO
a career of 30 fights featuring several tough fights and many title fights will wear you out more than a 60 fight career against bums
no one takes you seriously, you have an obvious bias against holyfield and also against ali. If you are really a true boxing fan i dont know how you could harbour a bias against these two, because if i had to name two fighters who had given the most out of their lives to the sport of boxing i would say ali and evander.
So now the stubby Qawi who got kicked out of LH by Spinks is younger and bigger than the future heavy champ?
What, they ain't got to arithmetic by 6th grade these days?
And that makes Buster in the early stages of obesity, diabetes, deathbed and retirement, that makes him younger in majic LordyLordy World, eh?
And now Big George and Big Pants Lar are younger in LordyLordy World eh? And Cooper at 26-7 with 5 KO losses is a legit contender in between those two?
My sweet dear, these are the first 4 of UnHoly's touted 10 career title wins, so am I supposed to feel sorry for him now that three were wars and he was paid multimillions?
You have him ranked 5th alltime, and he can barely sc**** by a pair of the oldest oldtimers in boxing heavy history and shot ****** and full of crack cruiser in his first defenses?
Then exposed against the first prime contender he faces, a guy more interested in going hand to hand with his fridge than boxing.
I don't have a bias against UnHoly or Ali, it's stuupid silly little 6th and 8th grade fans that keep them propped up in the ring way past their best walking on water using their walkers that I have a problem with.
Every fighter is beatable sweetie, and anyone can rank their favorites over everone else. This whole ranking nonsense much ado about nothing, but don't be trying to make out "your" fighter more than "my" fighter by spouting 6th grade nonsense.
So if Wlad decides to stop being a technician/Slugger and become the clubfighter that UnHoly became, you'd be a fan eh?
Well, whatever fluffs your little buddy 8th grader poet's pettycoats you silly little boy. Ya never know when Don King is gonna wheel him into the ring next, so keep your little fingers crossed in LordyLordy World........

at you saying you dont have a bias against either of them
i didnt say that, i said wlad has been able to fight more often than holyfield because he has a stand back and box style where he does not take punishment. Plus his quality of opponents are subpar so his fights are less taxing.
Look you obviously have problems, calling me "sweetie" etc is just plain *****

My top 15 is based on accomplishments - NOT head 2 head, I'm assuming this is what the thread starter is looking for...
Anyway, here's my list
1. Joe Louis - based on longevity. Sure he fought many tomato cans but it's a testament to his will and determination that he was able to do what he did.
2. Ali - 3 time heavyweight champion, best competition of any era. Nuff' said!!
3. Marciano - the only undefeated heavyweight champion, sure was a stubborn sob, didn't know the meaning of lose much less spell it.
4. Larry Holmes - Pure class in the ring, 1 of the best if not THE best jabs in the game. Many title defences. Almost matched Marciano's mark but lost.. some say to politics.
5. Lennox Lewis - 3 time Heavyweight Champion, often performed to the caliber of his competiton but when focused or "scared" of an oppenent, he would samash any foe... would be higher if he didn't lose to a couple of stiffs, mainly due to his arrogance and not being prepared mentally. (Overconfident)
Currently, his absence has left a huge void in the division, people are finally giving him his just due.
Personally, I would rate him as #1 based on a Head 2 Head comparison.. Too big, athletic, powerful, intelligent, adapts to any style.. only real weakness in his armor is his own arrogance, some would say his beard (a bit chinny). I would only give Ali a good chance to beat him based on styles.
6. George Foreman - In his prime was a pure beast. Not a technical boxer by any strecth of the imagination. He would overwhelm his opponents with brute force. Also, Oldest Heavyweight Champion in history.
7 - 13. Place any of the top heavyweights in any order you choose -
Mike Tyson
Joe Frazier
Sonny Liston
Rid**** Bowe
Jack Dempsey
Evander Holyfield
Jack Johnson
14-15. Put whomever you choose in at your own discretion.
BUSTA-KO
