IMHO its Mike Tyson. It would likely be Wlad if he had a bit more Devil in him. He dont tho. Tyson (and the others) Let there shots go with real malice, pure venom on those punches! Thats the difference imo

Agree with this right here. Wlad has the potential to be the bigger puncher purely due to his greater reach and bodyweight, which IMO would trump his slight deficits in speed to Tyson, but he's so damned reticent and unwilling to commit to punches that he stunts his full power. Tyson, despite being the smaller man, launched everything into his shots; that, coupled with phenomenal speed, solidity and explosiveness resulted in him being able to generate a huge amount of power per kg of bodymass.

None of the other three are in the running.

hitting some one hard and catching someone hard are 2 different things.

getting slammed in the forehead with a hard right cross is still better than getting ****** out on the chin when you completely don't see it coming.

I don't think Wlads got a big advantage though, only a bit.

I don't know why Wlad is in this poll? He's a fair puncher that sometimes scores knockouts over small guys. Tyson and Dempsey should be the top twp IMO.

It has to be Tyson or Dempsey. These guys knocked out other fighters with both hands and every punch, single punches and and in devastating combinations to head and body.

Langford has a great record but I doubt that he would match either of these two in scientific tests for power.

Baer may well have had a heavier right hand than Dempsey or Tyson, but overall he would be shaded for power with the other punches in their respective arsenals.

Wlad may well also have a heavier right hand (his left hook might be equal too!) than Tyson or Dempsey, but he has no uppercuts to speak of.......and his fighting style hardly promotes the 'big puncher' mentality.

P4p it's easily Langford, and by a good margin. Overall I'd probably say Tyson, but Wlad can **** too when the opportunity presents itself.
