    Standard fare though I guess.
Fullmer had a wack, he was the first guy to (unofficially) drop the iron chinned **** Tiger. But you're right he was far from concussive.

If Hagler had anything it was durability. Going to take a hell of a lot to stop him let alone knock him out.

I think Hagler wins all those except Monzon.

The most interesting bout for me wasn't included on there, Hagler vs Tiger.

Hagler vs Carlos Monzon = Monzon KO11
Hagler vs Mike McCallum = Draw

All the above fighters are vastly superior, than any fighters Hagler ever fought in his career.
      You are a fcuking lunatic.

You're never going to change these guys' minds, so there's no point in even arguing with them.

I remember a brief few months when this section of the forum seemed to have it's **** sorted out. Now it's a circus act again.

It certainly is :/, real shame really, how I long for the 2010 - 2012 Section to return. Still a fair few decent posters here just a few are really turning it on it's side.

Never quote the trolls' posts, they thrive on your responses. Also can't the mods of this sub-forum edit the trolls' profiles? Would be great if you could get '****head' in flashing text next to their username.

I see, you seem to be confused on the name calling thing......

To me Hagler is above average in all aspects of offense (combinations, leading with both hands, punching off feints, slips and blocking. Ring Generalship is very high along with balance and foot work. His defense is equally good with hand technique and positioning along with blocking, head movement and foot work. He has excellent experience and is always well conditioned and very well prepared. His corner I knew personally and they were well prepared at evaluating and handling their fighters needs in the corner.
Hagler was a true boxer/puncher who could box and would slug if he felt inclined to do so. Not a hard puncher but a very accurate one and worked top to bottom as most solid fighters do.
I saw Hagler live 4 or 5 times and had fighters on his under cards twice I think. Once on his birthday on a Maine show in a warm up bout for him.
Always carried himself well and was never guilty of a bad performance that I can remember.
There you go sonny, this is how I remember Hagler. Solid fighter who did everything very well. Oh yeah big heart and willing to fight to the end!
                    Ray
I agree 100% with what you say here about Marvin Hagler. But you are failing to make out the case of Hagler vs the other greats.
