Checkmate? It got blocked cos they weren't under any reasonable definition ********* organisations. It got blocked cos even the POTUS just can't simply define words as he sees fit.

Simple fact is they ain't ********* organisations no matter how much you want 'em to be or believe 'em to be. You wanting it to be so does not make it so. Unless you're nuts of course. Are you nuts?

Yes. Yes I am. I believe that discriminatory police violence is wrong and needs to be challenged. Damn that's even in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to which the US is a signatory. Except that *** ain't an organisation it's a movement. The ***GNF and ***10PLUS are organisations and I wish them well and hope that they manage to overcome their internal political problems and are able to continue working towards achieving fairness and equality for the Black community in America.

I also believe that if we allow authoritariansim, racism and bigotry to grow unchallenged we genuinely run the risk of the horrors and tragedies of 20th C fascism being repeated even if on a lesser scale. Shit... even on this very forum I've seen people discuss with apparent sincerity the establishment of concentration camps for the poor and destitute, the execution of recidivist petty thieves and the advocacy of criminalising political protest. Man... some of you dudes need to read some history. You got no idea how closely the rhetoric aligns.

No, man, we just got different sources for our information. And different life experiences.

The media souces you use carefully crafted a particular narrative for you, exclusively focused on the most visceral imagery available to sway your emotions, evoke your anger, and repeated over and over that 'antifa' and *** were the culprits despite the police and court reports showing that the vast majority of looting and property damage was carried out by opportunistic local criminals entirely unconnected to either movement. Standard propaganda techniques. Once they'd got you hooked to a particular narrative you did most of the rest yourself... it's just the way we humans are, always trying to interpret reality to fit with our existing beliefs.

They didn't show you that the overwhelming majority of both protests and protestors were entirely peaceful and that where there was violence it was most often a result of provocations by counterprotestors - like The Proud Boys - deliberately seeking to create optics for the media

They told you that *** and antifa were the 'murderers' despite the cars driven into protestors, despite that more people were killed by right wing counter protestors and police than by anyone associated with the protests, despite that many of the deaths were of looters with no connection to antifa or *** killed by police or property owners and despite no evidence of premediation involved in any of the deaths..

They tried to convince you that the chaos and anger was because of *** and 'antifa' instigators (hinting at shadowy cabals plotting murder and mayhem) rather than just a symptom of the simmering anger at injustice that had been building for years - decades - that it was down to a few bad actors rather than because of the deep underlying divisions within your society and a whole lot of normal, regular people who had just had enough.

I just see a different picture to you man. I like to think a bigger one, but maybe that's just my own arrogance. Thing is, I've seen these kindsa stories play out before - in person - different in detail and scale but much the same in many ways. The media distortions and lies, the provocations. I also know protestors and activists, hell my parents were activists FFS and I've been one myself at various periods of my life, and I can tell you they ain't what you're being told... vast majority anyway.

Well. Anyways. That's why we see things different. Ain't saying there isn't assholes and criminals and misfits within antifa or ***, of course, there is in every movement, nor am I denying that some protestors did commit crimes and deserve to pay for 'em, merely that they are very much in the minority in either movement and were massively overemphasized by the RWM.

              How were they hustled?

Szef , see if you can answer that too even though you are weak at this stuff.

You can't be serious. You do know everyone and their mom has a camera on their phone right? These videos were uploaded to Twitter Facebook and YouTube just to name a few. Theres no news source required when we can see what's going on in video.

These kind of responses are what killed this site. I need to get off this site for good. Seriously, this is the dumbest **** I've ever read.

Really, And have a think exactly what it is you saw and what it is you didn't see. Have a think about the sites you visit and who selects which videos you get to see and the algorithms which lead you to the videos that match your search preferences and the content prefered by those who watch similar content to yourself. Did you see the thousands of hours of completely peaceful protests? No? Why not do you think? Why do you think the same few dozen videos were recycled over and over? Man I debunked dozens of those social media videos myself over the course of last year, showed how they'd been selectively cut or edited or how they'd be captioned or titled to give a misleading version of events (like this thread for instance). You oughta remember, man, you were here.

Anyways. Lemme ask you, man, why is it you think that the people of the USA - and more specifically the towns and cities which were apparently burnt to the ground by these thugs - voted ***** in? Why did these cities vote back in ********ic Mayors and Councillors when the ********s were apparently sympathetic to these rampaging '*********s' that were tearing their cities apart? I'm genuinely curious what you think, because there's clearly some kinda of disconnect between what you think happened and what a majority of the people who actually lived in many of these places think happened. Can you explain this apparent contradiction to me cos I ain't getting it.

Did you see kids in black hoodies smashing things? Do you know all of them were 'antifa'? No. Did you assume that because you'd been told thugs in black are antifa that they were antifa? Guess what? Every mfer has a black hoodie and the local opportunists ain't ******... like I say, you bought a narrative man, and then once you bought it you just slotted any new information into place as you were supposed to.
